John’s Impreza Turbo 2.1 Stroker
John came to Scooby Projects with his UK-Spec Impreza Turbo to have a new turbo fitted and a re-map by BR Developments. Unfortunately, before the turbo could be fitted it was found that his engine had been breathing large amounts of engine oil into the inlet, and further investigations found the cause to be bore-wash. After lengthy consultations, John decided to replace his engine with an EJ20 semi-closed deck block with a 2.1-litre stroker kit. John also chose to fit a SimTec ECU, upgrade his suspension, and have a full-body respray.
