Scooby Projects are based in Ledbury and are associated with Advanced Automotive in Bristol and BR Developments in Swindon. Between us you will get everything you could possibly need to help you with any project that you wish to complete on your Subaru.
Scooby Projects was conceived by Keith Rigby because of his passion for all things Subaru. During Keith’s ten years of Subaru ownership, his experience with specialists and dealers has demonstrated that there can be a distinct lack of attention to detail and understanding of the customers needs. This often results in the end product and service not meeting the customers expectations and budget requirements.
Keith’s idea, through Scooby Projects, is to offer a personalised service at a fair cost that is tailored to the needs of the Subaru enthusiast.
Among the services offered, Scooby Projects can hand-build performance and WRC engines to customers specification and budget, using high quality components sourced from trusted suppliers. We also offer a wide range of performance upgrade packages and component parts, which we can supply through our online shop. We provide a comprehensive fitting service, or free technical support if customers wish to carry out work themselves. Whether you require a full engine rebuild or a smaller performance upgrade, Scooby Projects can help!

Associated Companies
Advanced Automotive have been in the engine machining and tuning business for 22 years, having gained their experience tuning the Cosworth YB engine. As far back as 1989, Advanced Automotive were developing 500bhp versions of this engine, and have machined or built nearly every type of engine ranging from a single cylinder diesel to a Mercedes 27litre 1200bhp boat engine.
Roger Clark Motorsport “RCM” was founded in 1991 by the former World Rally champion, the late Roger Clark MBE, and has established a world-wide reputation as a leading Subaru tuner. RCM are constantly developing new performance products for the Subaru Impreza, and Scooby Projects are proud to offer them for sale in our online shop.
Scooby Projects work closely with Bob Rawle of BR Developments based in Swindon. Bob specialises in custom mapping of engine management systems in Mitsubishi, Porsche and Subaru performance cars, and has over ten years of experience with a excellent reputation within the UK and internationally. Bob aims to incorporate good driveability and smoothness as well achieving top-line power and torque outputs, without compromising engine reliability.
Our Cars
The Scooby Projects team are passionate about Subarus. For us it’s not just a day job, so as you would expect most of us take our work home with us. All these cars are owned by members of the Scooby Projects team, and are featured in the Project Cars section of this website.
